A New Path To Kill Pretty Sweet
I have to say, from what I've heard, (Here and on the Myspace) You guys are pretty good.
I'd recommend adding a little more melody to the guitars. They're doing the harmonys (3rds I'm guessing?) but, it's mostly widdly stuff, if you'll excuse the term.
The properly melodic stuff is almost simplistic.
I think, if you upped the ante by averaging out the hard rhythms with the melodic side, it could definitely go places. I'd suggest listening to Pray for Villains by DevilDriver, if you havn't already. It's a good mix of the melody with the hard hitting rhythms.
Also, I'd suggest you get rid of The Shining clip. It's offputting, and more important, if the song does get big (which it could) that kind of thing is a legal minefield.
I know a bang who used a 5 second clip from lord of the rings on a demo and they got completely ear raped for it by their manager after they got signed.
